Do you want to learn more about QiGong?

 Ken Dolan, a seasoned QiGong & Tai Chi Master, and Carol Shwidock, Yoga Therapist and Reiki Master, are holding a mini workshop so you can explore this ancient wisdom more.. QiGong is a diverse set of mind, body, spirit practices emphasizing slow flowing movements combined with deep breathing and a focused mind.

Qi....refers to vital life force or energy.

Gong...refers to the study of, or the cultivation of, or the mastery of something.

Thus, QiGong is the study and cultivation of our vital life force..our energy, and how best use it to our advantage in helping us maintain  our optimal health. A key point of QiGong practice is to promote the movement and flow of our Qi in and around our body by opening, stretching and twisting our energy channels. Visualization is also employed to help facilitate this energy movement.

QiGong is much older than TaiChi and was and is still a pillar of Traditional Chinese Medicine {TCM}.

So first we will explore with movement then we will lay down and receive. We will guide the Chi (Qi) where we need it to be!

What a fun way to start at Saturday morning. Newbies encouraged.
